Homeroom, used herein and referred to also as “We, Our, and Us”, should be considered to include owner and operator Shelly Miller Leer and M. M. Leer Upholstery Studio as well as all parts of the same business: Homeroom, The Homeroom Shop (thehomeroomshop.com), Mod Home Ec (modhomeec.com), Upholstery Club, and Upholstery Knockouts (upholsteryknockouts.com).

Homeroom takes seriously our responsibility to respect and protect any and all information we collect from our website and studio visitors, customers, students and clients herein also referred to as “You and Your”. Please contact us with questions and to make any requests or changes regarding our collection and use of your personal information.

By accessing our websites and partner services, you acknowledge and agree to Homeroom Privacy Policy. When you provide information to Homeroom, you agree to use and storage described at time of collection until such time as you request discontinued use and/or storage.

What information does Homeroom collect?
For the purposes of communicating our goods and services to you and providing our services, we collect information you provide in person at our studio, online through our websites’ contact forms, forum comment sections and shopping carts, and in our studio and online through third-party services used for processing and/or storing that information. Examples include and are not limited to: name, email address, physical address, and phone number for the purposes including and not limited to purchase transactions, direct mailing and emailing list subscription, partner and affiliate marketing, services and products.

Interactions with us through entities including and not limited to social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, as well as our processors including and not limited to MailChimp and PayPal and our websites as hosted by third parties may cause certain information to be collected automatically for the purposes of such interaction only and may include information about device, system and connections used for such interactions. Examples include and are not limited to your IP address and cookies. Most web browsers allow cookies by default and offer the option for you to change this setting. Cookies help websites function and do not enable delivery of viruses or running of programs. Homeroom uses only proven services for such interactions with you, and any such services will also have readily available, clear information about privacy policies and terms of use.

Homeroom may obtain information about you from another source such as public records and databases only in order to provide a service or communication to you as you requested.

Will Homeroom share your information?
Homeroom will not share your personal information with any third parties, and may only use your information within a third party service for processing and/or storing that information. Homeroom uses only partner services with all reasonable privacy and security measures and best practices in place. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

How will Homeroom use your information?
Your information will be used to provide you with goods and services requested and for the purposes of marketing additional services to you and for the purposes of public forum and private instruction as part of our services. Homeroom may also use information internally to develop additional goods and services.

What terms are you agreeing to by using Homeroom?
You are granting Homeroom permission to keep your information from the time it is provided until you request we delete your information. We will update or alter information at your request at any time, and we may delete or alter your information at our discretion. Contact us at any time with requests for deletion or alterations

You are agreeing that you are providing accurate information with no intention of using Homeroom for illegal purpose and you are not located in any ineligible locale based on U.S. law or regulation.

You are agreeing that Homeroom may refuse service, delete your information and/or discontinue offering our goods or services at any time at our discretion.

Does Homeroom have restrictions for information collection?
Homeroom does not collect information from any person under the age of 13 years for any purpose other than to participate in studio classes. In that case of studio class participation, any and all information is to be provided by a parent or legal guardian of that person under the age of 13. If we discover a person under the age of 13 has provided Homeroom any information, we will delete information obtained immediately.

Will this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use document change?
Homeroom reserves the right to change policies and terms at any time without notice. Use of our websites or services and purchases will constitute your understanding of and agreement to the policy including any changes. Please review our policy regularly.
