1. NO TUFTING THIS TIME AROUND, like that blue chair.
2. Chairs 1,2,3 and 4 are the most user friendly. Chairs that have fabric attached right up against show wood are harder to tear down without damaging the wood and harder to re-cover. It’s doable, but more frustrating for new students. Think: Simple is Better! Also, remember not to fall in love with a chair with a sewn attached, or loose cushion. You’ll want a ‘wrapped seat’ for this project. You’ll be learning how to lay out, cut (OH! Those cuts are a challenge!) and pull smoothly and secure fabric around the seat rails. There are tricks to getting a pro look and I’ll show you how.
